The Bear-lake, which is the biggest salted lake of the world (40 235 square meter) and the only heliothermic (heated by the Sun) salted lake in Europe. The heliothermic phenomenon is caused by the green-house effect of the fresh water bed which flows over the surface of the salted water. The main component of the water is common salt (NaCl); its concentration grows with its depth, varies between 6- 31 %.
